The two-day event in Venice will focus on many facets of the art world, commencing from the pedagogical horizon between reflections and analysis, from training as permanent research also through the role of publishing, continuing with shared experiences on the role of museums through case stories of important national and international organisations.

- Paola Ciarcià, studio teacher, educator, expert in art teaching
- Veronica Ceruti from MAMbo in Bologna

The conference will be held in Venice at the Children’s Provincial Institute of Santa Maria della Pietà – the third prestigious location of the artistic, educational and cultural itinerant project “Stories of Children”, which shall host until 15th April 2018 not only the exhibition but also its connected constellation of events (guided tours, creative workshops for children and families, shows, screenings, meetings, round tables and conferences), with each stop on the project’s journey around Italy inspired by the twelve powerful stories on childhood selected by Letizia Galli and exhibited in the display by set designer Michele Iodice.
The convention is sponsored by BCBF, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. The coordinator, as with all previous events, will be the journalist and writer Donatella Trotta.
